Leaving the sweet hills of the Vara valley you come back to the coast, where tourism made famous places characterized by beaches and accommodation facilities able to satisfy the most different guests.
Leaving from Levanto, ancient Roman village now famous seaside resort and "doorway" to Cinque Terre. Of its glorious past of city allied with Genoa the ancient still remains the Medieval Loggia dating back to the XIII century, the Church of Santa Maria della Costa with the oratory of St. Giacomo and the Church of Sant'Andrea, radiant example of Ligurian Gothic with its façade made by an alternation of white marble and local serpentine stone bands.
Bonassola, lively seaside resort kept among the hills, immediately reveals its vocation to hospitality. Not to miss is a walk among pines and olive-trees to the small Church of the Madonna della Punta, from where it is possible to embrace with the look the whole coast of the Cinque Terre.
